Financial Assistance at MMS

MMS is committed to improving the accessibility of & equity within our programs.

At MMS, eligible families may qualify for one or both forms of financial assistance offered through the school.
  • The Magnolia Montessori School Financial Assistance Program is a school-sponsored pathway to tuition assistance. The MMS Financial Aid Committee convenes each year to allot limited financial aid to eligible families in accordance with school policy. A primary goal of the Magnolia Montessori School Tuition Assistance Policy is the fair and equitable distribution of the limited financial aid funds available. The policy is also intended to balance the School’s financial wellbeing with its goal to increase the socio-economic diversity of its student and family population, and to encourage families to remain members of the school community through a student’s elementary years.
    • To learn more about this program, read our Tuition Assistance Policy.

  • MMS is a proud provider of the Childcare Payment Program (CCPP) through the Division of Early Childhood Care & Development at MDHS. The CCPP assists low-income Mississippi families by offering a seamless system of high-quality child care through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) subsidy program.
    • For more information about the CCPP, visit https://www.mdhs.ms.gov/eccd/parent-information/.
  • In addition to school-sponsored and state-sponsored financial aid, MMS is a certified Childcare Aware of America agency. Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA) provides child care assistance for military families through Fee Assistance and Respite Child Care Programs that have served more than 150,000 families and worked with more than 60,000 child care providers over nearly two decades. CCAoA works with a national network of more than 500 child care resource and referral (CCR&Rs) agencies and other partners to ensure that all families have access to quality, affordable child care. CCAoA leads projects that increase the quality and availability of child care, conducts research, and advocates for child care policies that positively impact the lives of children and families.
