Elementary: The Ruby Bridges Classroom Community
The Elementary classroom community supports each 6 to 12-year-old student as a lifelong and independent learner and thinker.
Materials and manipulatives invite students to develop their senses of discovery, concentration, responsibility, and order.
Ms. Katie leads the Elementary classroom. Ms. Brooke serves as a mentor for the class and school. Both Ms. Brooke and Ms. Katie are AMI certified Montessori guides.
Each of our Elementary students participates in a morning and afternoon work cycle during which community members build on the social, emotional, physical, mental, and academic skills they've developed throughout their lives.
The Elementary day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.
MMS offers Extended Care from 7:15am to 5:30pm.
