
Primary: The Jim Henson & Fannie Lou Hamer Classroom Communities
The Primary classroom community is a deeply engaging environment for children ages 2.5 to 6 years that builds on naturally emerging social skills and encourages respect, learning, independence, and capability.
In Spring 2020, MMS opened a second Primary classroom!
Ms. Bekah leads the Jim Henson Classroom Community. Ms. Katelynn Dillard, the MMS Director of Sustainability, is the Support Guide.
Ms. Emily leads the Fannie Lou Hamer Classroom Community. Ms. Katelyn Stowell, the MMS Office Manager, is the Support Guide.
The Primary Full Day option begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. The Half Day option begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
MMS offers Extended Care from 7:15am to 5:30pm.

Grace and Courtesy, encouraging self-regulation, good manners, and good hygiene: each lesson continues in the Primary classroom.
