Grace and courtesy, encouraging self-regulation, good manners, and good hygiene: each lesson continues in the Primary classroom.

• Children understand that their behavior impacts the whole community.
• Grace and courtesy promote empathy through resolving social
conflicts.

The Primary Work Cycle
• Each of our classrooms enjoys a three-hour morning work cycle, during which students engage in developmentally appropriate, holistic learning.
• Beginning in Primary, the child develops deep
levels of concentration, and our Primary classrooms foster their desire for increased focus by carefully preparing each of our classroom environments for learning.
• Building their own abilities to concentrate gives
children respect for others who are trying to
concentrate.
• Lesson mastery and sharing builds each child's confidence and abilities.
• When ready, our Kindergarten students participate in an additional afternoon work cycle while younger students rest.
